The Southeast’s first EVEN Hotel is being built in the Palmer Lake section of the Miami International Airport, its developers announced.

Epelboim Development Group and Atlanta’s InterContinental Hotels Group(NYSE: IHG) are developing the 189-room resort and expect to deliver it by 2018.
VEN Hotels is the newest lifestyle brand from InterContinental Hotels Group and is geared toward “wellness-minded” travelers. The brand has two locations open in Rockville, Maryland, and Norwalk, Connecticut, and six hotels in development in New York City, Seattle and Omaha, Nebraska.
IHG, based in the United Kingdom, is behind a portfolio of hotel brands including the InterContinental, Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants, Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites and others. Epelboim Development Group, based in Miami, is also behind the Riviera Point Business Center at Doral and the Riviera Point Corporate Center Miramar.
“We are excited to build on our new relationship with IHG and together, deliver this EVEN Hotel at Miami Airport. As one of the busiest airports in the U.S. and a major international gateway city, the EVEN Hotels brand will be exactly what travelers are looking for in order to maintain the balance they desire,” said Noel Epelboim, President of Epelboim Development Group in a statement.
EVEN is among many brands to open its first state location in South Florida, including Marriott’s AC brand in South Beach Tryp opening in Fort Lauderdale, and Live Aqua from Grupo Posadas in Mexico opening in Miami.
